The Department of Conservation and Recreation for Massachusetts manages state parks and oversees more than 450,000 acres throughout Massachusetts. It protects, promotes, and enhances the state’s natural, cultural, and recreational resources.

The Land Trust Alliance is a national land conservation organization that represents more than 1,000 member land trusts and their 4.6 million supporters nationwide. Their mission is to save the places people need and love by strengthening land conservation across America

LightHawk's mission is to accelerate conservation success through the powerful perspective of flight. They serve as consultants, co-designing flight campaigns to achieve relevant and important conservation outcomes, educational objectives and outreach strategies.

The Long Island Sound Watershed Regional Conservation Partnership Program (LISW-RCPP) is a landscape scale initiative that covers the geographic area of Long Island Sound (the Sound) and its watershed. It coordinates the development and implementation of a comprehensive working lands program with a key focus on: 1) nutrient management and soil health, 2) protection of non-industrial forest land, and 3) working lands adaptation/ resiliency.

The National Park Service manages national parks, some national monuments, and other related properties. Their mission is to preserve unimpaired the natural and cultural resources and values of the National Park System for the enjoyment, education, and inspiration of this and future generations.

They pursue specific, targeted actions to further the practice, policy, and performance of landscape conservation

The North Atlantic LCC is a conservation science-management partnership, consisting of federal agencies, states, tribes, universities and private organizations, focused on collaboratively developing science-based recommendations and decision-support tools to implement on-the-ground conservation.

The North East State Foresters Association (NEFA) is the state foresters of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and New York cooperating with the USDA Forest Service State and Private Forestry. Their mission is to keep the region’s forests as forests, to assure their productivity and health, and to support the businesses and forest landowners that depend on the forest for their livelihood.

The Open Space Institute supports conservation on a permanent, landscape scale. They work with government agencies, landowners and local land trusts to acquire land to protect diverse landscapes; preserve habitat for rare or endangered species; ensure water quality; facilitate wildlife adaptation to climate change; and enhance recreational access

The Cornell Lab of Ornithology's mission is to interpret and conserve the earth’s biological diversity through research, education, and citizen science focused on birds.
