For more than 35 years, the firm has practiced in the areas of land use and land conservation from the individual, land trust, citizen group, municipal and corporate perspective. Our attorneys have worked with or are counsel to many of the conservation organizations in the state. The firm has participated in successful land preservation efforts and land conservation transactions throughout Connecticut. Our attorneys have been there from the formation of non-profit land preservation organizations to the drafting of conservation easements (in Connecticut known as “conservation restrictions”) including the orchestration of the many documents necessary to seek charitable deductions. We represent clients throughout the state, from border to border and along the coast.
