Woodland Councils and Regional Conservation Partnerships
Many land conservation organizations already provide information to landowners about their land protection and management options and typically all contribute to land conservation successes in some fashion. The Wildlands and Woodlands vision calls for a renewed emphasis on both of these woodland council functions to increase the pace of forest conservation on private lands.
There are many types of organizations that provide woodland council functions including conservation collaborations/partnerships .
